You need at least 3 people and a nerf gun. It is played best in a house or large area with hiding spots. First you make sure all the lights are out. Pick one person to be it and that person will have the nerf gun and the others will start on base which could be a couch, swingset, patio, etc and the person who is it runs off. The other people start walking (It is best to spread out) around and usually the person with the nerf gun hides. When the players get near the him, he will try to shoot them with the nerf gun. If you get hit 6 times then you are the next "it".
